Guidelines

Rule 0

The rule of cool. I take creative liberties with Final Fantasy XIV's lore, particularly about Sin Eaters, Light and aether, shard travel, and the Twelve only know what else. I have been given a canvas, not a bible. If you're someone who's more lore-strict in your roleplay, I respect that, but you probably won't enjoy interacting with me much. I ask that you respect me in turn, and not attempt to critique or debate me.

Rule 1

Don't be a fucking fascist. I will not stand for any kind of OOC hatred or discrimination - this includes OOC discrimination toward in-game races or character types. I recognize that these subjects can and will come up in character, but I will respond in character appropriately.

Rule 2

I am an adult. I deal with adult themes, and do plenty of adult writing in some form or another. Please be 21+ if you want to write/roleplay with me.

Rule 3

Boundaries are key in EVERYTHING. I am not my character, and my character is not me. I understand that emotions can run wild during roleplay, but if you find yourself overwhelmed, step away. Take a breath, make some tea, touch grass, pet your fur babies.

Rule 4

Communicate. I am not a mind reader, and cannot accurately predict what you are thinking if you don't tell me. Additionally, while I am typically a more light-hearted and hopeful roleplayer, darker themes can and will show up in roleplay, particularly around Sin Eaters and the characters that choose to oppose them. That being said, communication is required if you wish to get into scenes with the potential for major, lasting consequences. (Important caveat: I am not and will never be open to this character's death.)

Rule 5

Don't be a creep. While flirting and shipping can and will occur, consent is key, and no means no. If you're a chaser or otherwise overly fetishized in some fashion, fuck off, I don't want anything to do with you. (Refer to Rule 1.)

Rule 6

Fiction is fiction. Some people use fictional media to express or explore topics or ideas that they never would in real life. Respect that, and don't make assumptions about real people based on fictional content. If a subject makes you uncomfortable, politely communicate first if it involves you, or curate your experience if it does not. Walk away, use your mute list, use your blacklist if necessary.

Rule 7

Real Life Always Comes First. We all have things happening around us, constantly. Some of us struggle with anxiety or depression. Replies might be slow, or need to come later. Scenes might need to be put on hold, cancelled, or redacted. Please respect that. It is not a personal slight. The game will still be there when we return.

Curry Bread

One of the most delicious foods in all the known realms, wrapped in fresh dough, coated in seasoned bread crumbs, and deep-fried to crispy perfection. Comes with diced potatoes, carrots, and onion, as well as your choice of protein - or without, for a vegetarian option. If you're feeling brave, ask for the Bomb Curry... but don't say you weren't warned! (Japan)

Pierogi

Mashed popotoes, seasoned any way you like, wrapped in a simple flour-and-egg dough, cooked in boiling water before being pan-fried with butter. Far more delicious than this simple description would have you think! Served with a side of sour cream. (Poland)
